If you are someone who currently drives alone to work and is looking for another option, consider a ferry! Register for the A Better City TMA Catch the Wave Program and we’ll reimburse you up to $100 for the cost of your first monthly pass when you switch from driving alone. 

Who is eligible?

Any employee or tenant of a participating A Better City TMA member company member company currently driving alone at least three days a week is eligible. Proof of driving alone (parking pass, receipt, etc.) will be required to complete registration.

How does the program work?

Participants receive a reimbursement from A Better City TMA of up to $100 for their first monthly fare pass. To earn your subsidy, use your GoMassCommute account to track a minimum of three ferry trips per week for one month. Reimbursements apply for purchases made in the same calendar year and must be submitted by December 16, 2024.

What happens after my first month?

If you continue to use a ferry at the end of your first month, make sure to keep logging trips on your GoMassCommute account to earn more fun prizes!

What if I need to get home unexpectedly?

A Better City TMA gives you peace of mind with the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program. Get sick? Have a family emergency? Blow a tire on your bike? No problem! Through GRH you receive up to six free Uber rides per year.

How do I sign up?

Signing up is easy! Simply log on to your GoMassCommute account and scroll to the “Rewards” section on your dashboard. Follow the instructions in the "Catch the Wave" program and start logging your trips!
