Ditch the drive-alone commute, join a vanpool and we'll help foot the bill. A Better City TMA’s Vanpool Subsidy Program will subsidize the cost of your vanpool seat by $150 over three months.

Who is eligible?

Any employee or tenant of a participating A Better City TMA member company member company currently driving alone three days a week or more is eligible. Participation is also extended to commuters who switched commuting modes within the last three months. Proof of driving alone (parking pass, receipt, etc.) will be required prior to final registration.

how does it work?

Participants receive a total reimbursement of $150 towards their vanpool fare. The subsidy is spread out over the course of three months for up to $50 each month. Participants are required to track vanpool commutes in their GoMassCommute account and provide a copy of their monthly vanpool invoice or receipt in order to receive each month’s reimbursement. Reimbursements apply for purchases made in the same calendar year and must be submitted by December 16, 2024.

If you continue to vanpool end of three months, keep tracking your trips in your GoMassCommute account to earn more fun prizes!

What if I need to get home unexpectedly?

A Better City TMA gives you peace of mind with the Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program. Get sick? Have a family emergency? Blow a tire on your bike? No problem! Through GRH you receive up to six free Uber rides per year.

How do I sign up?

Signing up is easy! Simply log on to your GoMassCommute account and visit the “Rewards” section on your dashboard. Follow the instructions in the "Vanpool Subsidy" program and start logging your trips!
