Bike Benefit Reimbursement Program

Starting February 2018, A Better City TMA is introducing our very own Bike Reimbursement program. Participants are eligible to receive up to two $25 reimbursements over the course of a calendar year for eligible expenses including for a new safety gear, a new bike, or maintenance. More than one claim cannot be filed per month, but claims can be submitted any time during the year. 

To be eligible for the bike reimbursement, you must be an active member of the Workout to Work program. That means you must log your miles on your A Better City TMA account online a minimum of three consecutive months leading up to your reimbursement claim. We don’t care if you’ve biked five miles each of those months, or 20, but we do want you to be dedicated to incorporating biking into your daily commute. To sign up for Workout to Work, simply create or log on to your A Better City TMA account and visit the “Program Registration” link on your dashboard.

Who is eligible?

Any employee or tenant of an A Better City TMA member company member company who:

  • Has an active commuter account with A Better City TMA
  • Is enrolled in the Workout to Work program, and have completed a Workout to Work Monthly Report for three consecutive months leading up to claim
  • Uses a bicycle as their main form of commuter transportation

What can I get reimbursed for?

Reimbursable expenses include: bicycle, lock, saftey light, helmet purchases, and general maintenance purchases

How does the program work?

Users can submit receipts for eligible expenses along with the claim form HERE to tma@abettercity.org
